Pat married Robert Edward Commons at Rugby Register Office. Bob was her fourth husband, a widower and retired army signalman, their romance blossomed thanks to a shared destination of Tesco. Pat provided the lift one rainy day and Bob repaid her with coffee, a bun and a few weeks later, a proposal of marriage. Pat wasn't keen on becoming a Mrs Commons, so Bob conceded to become Mr and Mrs Common-Sinclair, the first of many concessions on his part and as a result, a very happy marriage!
